The Morning Cup
David throws each cup by hand in his Prague studio. Czech clay shaped on the wheel, pressed into paper-lined molds that leave delicate impressions on the surface. He marbles black and light clay together—patterns that swirl and settle differently every time. Bisque firing, hand glazing, final firing. The process takes days. What emerges feels substantial in your hands, textured in ways machines can't replicate. 100ml capacity—sized for espresso, cortado, evening digestifs.
Small batch - David creates 20-30 pieces monthly. If this sells out, check back early next month when David's new batch arrives.

David throws each piece on the wheel in his Prague studio, working with local Czech clay. He lines custom molds with paper—when the clay is pressed inside, the paper leaves delicate impressions that can't be replicated. Before firing, he marbles black and light clay together. The patterns swirl and settle differently each time—no two pieces identical.
Each cup goes through bisque firing first, reaching temperatures that harden the clay. Then David hand-glazes the surface—brushwork that follows the marbled patterns. The final firing fuses everything together. The entire process takes days from wheel to finished piece. He handles each cup multiple times, checking form and texture at every stage. The paper-mold technique is his—refined over years, creating surfaces that catch light in ways smooth ceramics can't.
