David Síla

David Síla

David throws ceramics in a shared studio on Prague's Žižkov. Trained at the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem, he developed his signature paper-mold technique through years of experimentation — 3D-printed forms lined with cardboard that leave impressions impossible to replicate. Each piece is wheel-thrown using two Czech clays, marbled by hand, then fired twice. The cardboard texture makes every surface unique. David also designs 3D-printed ceramic work and sculpts in concrete. He lives in Jablonec nad Nisou with his wife, daughter, and ginger cat.

Magdalena Němcová

Magdalena Němcová

Magdalena designs and sews linen textiles in South Bohemia. After 20 years as a graphic designer, she started creating the kind of simple, timeless pieces she wanted for herself. Pure linen from Czech and European sources, sewn locally by skilled seamstresses. Tea towels, table linens, bedding. Some with her original prints, some left plain. She works with her husband's help, a small team, and her seven-year-old daughter nearby. Everything made in South Bohemia with attention to how linen ages beautifully over time.

Dominika Jelínková

Dominika Jelínková

Dominika makes cold-process soap in Prague. Started in 2017 while traveling in a van — washing outside, not wanting to put chemicals in the soil. Essential oils, mineral clays, dried herbs, butters. Traditional methods where ingredients react slowly over weeks. She handles each bar multiple times, sources from Czech suppliers, wraps in paper and tissue. Seven years of refining recipes. Soap that cleans well and breaks down naturally.
